Lisa Pauly Lefeber, Curator
Lisa Pauly Lefeber is Vice President of Operations at Destination Lake Winnebago Region and has been there for over thirty years. Her interest in Heritage Tourism began in 1986 with the City of Fond du Lac Sesquicentennial Celebration supporting several committees and playing a main part in the re-enactment show, and attendance at the May 1987 Heritage Tourism Conference held in the Retlaw Hotel.
She has served as Past President and current Curator of the Fond du Lac County Historical Society, committee member of the Taylor Park Pavilion Restoration, background support for the 1997 Ad Hoc Downtown Civic Center Committee, an integral part of “Fond du Lac’s Talking Houses and Historic Places” tour and “Fond du Lac County’s Wander Country Roads”. She serves as the Chair of the City of Fond du Lac Historic Preservation Commission, Secretary of the Downtown Architectural Review Board, and Secretary-Treasurer by the Wisconsin Association of Historic Preservation Commissions Board.
She was awarded Friend of Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership in 2015. Her re-enactment days included Civil War, Rendezvous, and Society for Creative Anachronism.
