What Will I See When Visiting?
This replica Civilian Conservation Corps barracks was built to honor the history and accomplishments of the CCC and to memorialize all the CCC men from Fond du Lac County.
Built in 1891, the church was moved to the Galloway Village in 1969. The church retains it original pump organ, altar, chairs instead of pews.

The 1880 era residence was moved in 1974 from 240 Linden Street to Galloway Village Mall.
The social gathering spot of a small village included the U.S. Post Office and a general store stocked with food, dry goods, housewares and medicines for man and beast.
Originating from the Town of Lamartine, west of Fond du Lac on property known as the Rausch Farm, the cabin was donated to the society in 1962 by owners Ed and Richard Fenner.
